THE BEAUTY OF NATURE

Here at the Light of Hope program, we inspire our participants to embrace their senses and connect deeply with their daily experiences. By opening your mind to the wonders of the universe, you can truly appreciate all that surrounds you and find joy in every moment. Let's embark on this journey together, exploring the magnificence that life has to offer!

THE RAIN OF AUTUMN LEAVES

Autumn brings a breathtaking display of colorful leaves, transforming our surroundings into a vibrant tapestry. Imagine walking along your favorite trail or wandering through a park, enveloped by the enchanting beauty of nature's change. It's the perfect opportunity to pause and admire the splendor of life all around you. Embrace the magic of the season and let the falling leaves inspire you!

Autumn Equinox begins September 22nd.

"During an equinox, the sun crosses what we call "the celestial equator"- an imaginary extension of earth's equator line into space. The equinox occurs precisely when the sun's center passes through this line.

After the autumnal equinox, day becomes shorter than nights as the sun continues to rise later and night fall arrives earlier. This ends with winter solstice, after which days start to grow longer once again."

CONTINUING EDUCATION

At Light of Hope, our monthly staff meetings provide an invaluable opportunity for employees to enhance their performance skills. During these sessions, we focus on the individuals, safety protocols, data collection, and the latest laws and regulations related to community integration programs, and health and labor. Our aim is to ensure that our staff is well-informed and equipped to provide the best possible support to Light of Hope participants. Together, we strive to create a positive impact in our community.

"The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education."

                                    Martin Luther King, Jr.

EMBRACING THE UNIVERSE

autumn-landscape-1379696322ccb.jpg

"A human being is part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."

                                                      Albert Einstein

LIFE'S TRANSITIONS

At Light of Hope, we understand that as the seasons change, so do the challenges in life. Our mission is to empower our participants to adapt and thrive amidst these changes. We believe in fostering resilience, encouraging each individual to embrace new circumstances with courage and optimism. Together, we can navigate life's transitions and emerge stronger.

WHAT SEPTEMBER BRINGS
