April Showers Bring May Flowers

Jordan W. has been with Light of Hope for almost 18 months. He enjoys his daily activities with his friends in the program, and working with and learning from staff. Jordans states that he has grown a lot and learned more about himself since starting. His favorite activity is going to Shemesh Farms which has enabled him to learn about gardening and has helped him to gain a new appreciation for it.
Jordan also loves that the program offers him opportunities to participate in various forms of exercise such a Zumba, Yoga, Boxing, attend Fitness for Autism, and Classical Pilates. He feels blessed to be a part of Light of Hope.

What makes Light of Hope so special? One of the many reasons is the incredible people involved! The staff and participants at the Naslund & Naslund Light of Hope program are a group of truly exceptional individuals. They are not only happy and humble but also deeply giving, always striving to make each day meaningful. Every day at the program is filled with personal growth, joyful achievements, and moments of fun that are shared in a warm, supportive environment. The atmosphere is one of love, companionship, and genuine care, where everyone contributes to creating a place where both challenges and successes are celebrated. It’s this sense of community and dedication that truly sets Light of Hope apart.

EASTER RENEWAL

Easter is a time of new life and renewal! Sunday April 20th, 2025.​
EARTH DAY

Earth Day (April 22nd) focuses on environmental protection and sustainability. People worldwide engage in activities like cleanups and tree planting to raise awareness about climate change. It serves as a reminder to reduce waste, conserve energy, and protect our planet for future generations.
NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK

National Volunteer Week (April 19 to April 25). Celebrating the positive impact of volunteerism and inspires others to get involved in causes such as social justice and environmental conservation. It’s a time to recognize and appreciate the contributions of volunteers.
Autism Awareness Month was launched in 1970 to promote autism and those affected by it. The main goal was to make sure the ones affected were able to receive quality care and support. It encourages us to see that each person is unique and their differences are a normal part of life.​
