Alexandra B.
Alexandra "Alex" is an avid Taylor Swift fan! If there is a Taylor Swift concert nearby, Alex will be there! Taylor's music always brings a bright smile to Alex's face.

Alex is also a baseball lover! You will find her batting the ball (with assistance) and racing around the baseball field with her support guide helping her to make it safely to each base as her best friends, Hannah and Amelia cheer her on ! She also loves times when there is karaoke and dancing.

Alex is particularly fond of her support guide, Mimi, who helps to make each program day a joy for Alex.

Shine on like the bright star your are, Alex! Light of Hope love having you with us.

IN FOCUS

QUOTE OF THE MONTH

When you love someone, you love the whole person as he or she is, and not as you would like them to be.
Leo Tolstoy
SHAKESPEARE
Sonnet 116

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O, no! it is an ever-fixed mark,
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth’s unknown, although his height be taken.
Love’s not Time’s fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle’s compass come;
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error, and upon me prov’d,
I never writ, nor no man ever lov’d.

The month of February is a time for honoring the achievements and the contributions of African Americans to, not just our nation, but to the world. We look forward to learning about and sharing this valuable information!

She has hopes to outline classes for all of Light of Hope participants. Everyone is excited about this new venture!

LOH Participants, Hannah and Glenn are all in for yoga! Later this month, LOH participants will start taking classical pilates which will strengthen core muscles and the upper and lower body. To prevent muscle imbalances and injuries, in classical pilate, all muscle groups will be worked evenly.
We are quite sure our participants will benefit greatly from this workout.

The first Groundhog Day ceremony was held in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania in the 1800's and has been observed every since. and whether one believes it or not, it is a jovial time for many.
