QUOTE OF THE MONTH
Our uniqueness, our individuality, and our life experience molds us into fascinating beings. I hope we can embrace that. I pray we may all challenge ourselves to delve into the deepest resources of our hearts to cultivate an atmosphere of understanding, acceptance, tolerance, and compassion. We are all in this life together.
Linda Thompson
WINTER'S RAIN
The first winter's rain
Brings in the chill in the air
The sun hides behind the overcast sky
Playing hide and seek with the grey clouds
A gust of wind whooshes through the trees
The cold weather is set to begin
I wrap myself in a blanket in bed
Reading a novel with a mug of coffee in hand
Untimely rain brings us such pleasure
A time to lie and contemplate in leisure

UPCOMING EVENTS
THE NEW YEAR IS HERE!
As we embark upon this New Year, we look forward to new and greater adventures for our Life of Hope program. We are always looking for that "rewarding moment" when our participants excel in a task or/and overcome obstacles in their lives. We have witnessed and cheered their successes! Now, what will this New Year find you doing?

On Monday, January 20th we will be celebrating the life and achievements of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This is recognized as a federal holiday. Dr. King helped to end racial segregation and fought for racial equality in America. May we take time to remember those who helped pave the way for our freedoms!
